The first sake of the new year is Gichigi.
I bought it at Ward's in Tsukaguchi at the end of the year for New Year's. I thought it might have a little bit of a peculiarity because it was an old sake from the 18th year, but it had none. I had it warmed, and the aroma while it was warming up was very promising. The flavor and acidity of the rice spread in the mouth in a well-balanced manner. It went well with the osechi dishes, and I couldn't help but pour more sake.
