Chokki
Tomikuma Sou Junmai Ginjo Nama Storage Sake
14% 55% 720ml, about 1500 yen
This sake is made by Kubota Shuzo in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture.
Yamadanishiki produced in Fukui Prefecture is used.
It is not so low in alcohol, but the name "Sou" makes it easy to drink, and the taste reminds one of the soda flavor of "Garigarikun".
As the light blue bottle suggests, it is a slightly fresh sake with a fresh flavor. The light sweetness is followed by a slight spiciness.
The only bottle sold at the moment is 300ml.
According to the Kubota Shuzo website, their main brands are "Onisakuza" and "Isshu Keijo". I once bought a bottle at a Fukui products store in my hometown Togoshi Ginza. The taste didn't really appeal to me, but I guess "Sou" might be the same.
