At the end of the year, I opened a bottle of Asahitaka from Takagi Shuzo in my hometown of Yamagata 🍾 This time it was a cold-stored sake.
It is a little less gorgeous than the last fresh-stored sake, but it is as fruity as muscat on the palate.
It is a little alcoholic in the middle part of the taste, but it has a nice crispness and a short, lingering finish that does not tire you out.
