Kuninokotobuki純米吟醸「山田錦」
くま吉
Yanagawa City's local sake purchased at a souvenir shop in Gohana, a tourist attraction in Yanagawa City
(Just before opening)
Drink cold
Clear and colorless
Alcoholic aroma
In the mouth, there is a strong flavor of rice, sweetness, and a slight astringency that gives the impression of wood.
The dryness gradually appears and the aftertaste is short.
Serve with red clams (also from Yanagawa).
The astringency of the sake is not overpowered by the rich taste of the tsukudani, so it goes very well with it.
Overall, it gives the impression of old-fashioned sake.
(2 days after opening the bottle)
Drink cold
The dryness and astringency are delicious with the crisp, cold taste.
The taste of tsukudani (food boiled down in soy sauce) of red clams is much better than that of cod roe or herring roe, which go well with sake.
(5 days after opening)
The astringency is weakened and it gives a calm impression.
Personally, it is my favorite so far!
