They recommend drinking it within a month. Reservations are required, but you can usually buy it for free. I have never made a reservation for sake.
When I drank it, I found it to be a very good sake. I honestly can't come up with the vocabulary to comment on many of the junmai class of local sake, but a proper sake from a proper brewery is good.
However, I prefer it at room temperature or lower rather than warmed up. I felt the balance was off if it was warmed up. If you have a bottle of sake that is about a 4-gou bottle, you can try various things with it.
