It would be a shame not to enjoy Akita, a city of fine sake, on a business trip to Akita Prefecture! I decided to stay an extra night and enjoy Akita's sushi by myself.
Sushi in a rice-producing region is delicious. The zuwai crab and octopus stewed tenderly between bites were also excellent.
But above all, the sake pairing was to die for!
We had a glass of Shinmasa No. 6 wine.
The freshness of the sake was unbeatable. It was served well chilled, so it went down your throat nicely.
Akita Prefecture was the best ♡♡♡!
