This is the best food sake!
It is not flashy, and the taste and aroma are mild from start to finish.
The graininess and the rough texture add depth to the flavor.
It can be served with sashimi, but I would definitely pair it with salted grilled fish or boiled vegetables.
I have a few favorite food sake such as Kaygetsu, Wataya, Hakuryu, Ariiso, Drunken Whale, etc., but this Hakubanishiki came in from a different angle 😆.
