Akita Sake
Hanamupu Dewasanzan Junmai Ginjo
I bought it in a bottle. Hanamup is my favorite brand.
The last time I drank it, it was made from Omachi sake rice, but this time it is made from Dewa Sanzu sake rice from Yamagata. Hanamup itself received technical guidance from the Jyushiyo brewery in Yamagata, so I thought it would be a good match and bought it.
The aroma is faintly sweet. In the mouth, it has a sweetness that is typical of Hanamup, but it has more acidity than Omachi. Hana Yuu Omachi is gorgeous and feminine, while Dewa Sanzan is not so gorgeous and masculine. It is interesting how different sake rice can make such a difference. As a food sake, Dewa Sanzan is more suitable.
