As I am not familiar with Japanese sake, a few months ago, the clerk told me that the label design often expresses the impression of the sake, and that it is a "jakke-buy. I had always chosen sake by asking the sales clerk, but this time I decided to try a standard AKABU brand, both a well-known brand and a jukebake. When I drank it chilled, I felt a fluffy sweetness and fruity taste spread in my mouth, and as I was feeling the flavor, it disappeared in a flash. It is the kind of sake that makes you say, "Oh, what does it taste like, one more glass," and go on and on. It's totally different from the tough red samurai. But it's a sake that suits me, and at a reasonable price, I can see why it's so popular. One day when it was cold, I tried drinking it lukewarm, and to my surprise, the stronger flavor in the mouth made it seem to disappear without leaving a lingering aftertaste, and in a way, it was more refreshing. It is as if they are the children on the cover of the brochure introducing the schools my child is applying to. Too refreshing, I would prefer a different brand for long autumn nights when I am alone with my thoughts.
