Sake rice is Gohyakumangoku produced in Toyama Prefecture, rice polishing ratio is 60%, and yeast is undisclosed.
We had it well chilled ✨.
We can drink a lot of different kinds of sake, so we had a half-batch.
It is a fresh, crisp sake with just the right amount of acidity, sweetness and bitterness, and is well balanced so it goes well with food. You can also taste the umami of the rice from Gohyakumangoku! It is a great sake!
I paired it with boiled edamame beans 😆.
