Hiraizumi吟’(GIN DASH)
かずぴょん
A daiginjo (a kind of sake) given to me by a friend who went back home to Akita.
The aroma is subdued, but the mouthfeel is fruity and expansive. As you drink more, the rice flavor remains firm, but the sake is refreshing and does not interfere with food.
Today's entrée was fried scallops with butter and pickled herring roe in black soy sauce.
I am savoring it while thinking of the heavy snowfall in the Tohoku region 😋.
