I couldn't stand still at the end of the workday.
I went over the mountain to Ichimasuya.
There were several kinds of Sugiyuu with different specs.
I decided on this one after being briefed by a very nice lady clerk and the young master.
Sugiyuu Special Junmai Dry +10 Genshu
I thought it might be too dry for me, but Waka-Danna told me that it was spread out, clean, and robust (though quite light).
Tonight we had rockfish from the fishing pond & natural rockfish caught by the husband in the morning.
Firefly squid pickled offshore, and much more...
It goes well with both the protein-rich grilled rockfish and the salty pickled fish.
It is not as dry and spicy as I thought it would be. Umami? It is a delicious sake!
