During a trip to Shizuoka, I bought it at a liquor store that was open late after dinner. I went back to my room and sipped it.
This sake is made with wine yeast.
As described on the official website, the aroma reminded me of grapefruit and the bitterness was easily recognizable.
Maybe a bit like white wine?
With an alcohol content of 12%, it is not too pungent and has a clean aftertaste.
As time passed after taking it out of the refrigerator, I felt that the originally small amount of rice flavor came out little by little👍.
I prefer Garyubai as a mellow Shizuoka sake!
