Wakayama series. I bought this sake because it is made by Takagaki Shuzo, the brewer of that Ryujinmaru, which is very rare, isn't it? I often visit Wakayama, but I had never heard of this one until I picked it up.
At first, it has a dry, "dry" aroma, like a honjozo sake.
When you put it in your mouth, the dry aroma of the first saké disappears completely, and instead, a lot of rice flavor and soft acidity spreads in your mouth, and finally, a dry sharpness comes in.
It is just plain delicious 🍶.
It has no peculiarities at all, it is neither dry and dry nor mellow, but just in between. If you warm it up, the final sharpness is a bit quicker, but the restrained and balanced fullness in the middle part of the bottle is even more apparent.
It's a good, stable sake that you can continue to drink with peace of mind ✨.
