#Japanese sake #Noda city We went to Noda City to welcome the kitten. Since it was a great opportunity, I looked for a sake brewery and found one, Kubota Shuzo. I didn't know about it. The kanji is different from the usual Kubota Shuzo. I looked for a sake shop, but I couldn't find one in Noda that cared about sake. Finally, I found a shop that carries Kubota's sake, and stopped by to buy some. I wasn't sure if I should go for the representative brand, Katsushika, but after seeing the date of production, I decided. It was a little warm in the shop, and I was a little worried because it wasn't in the refrigerator. I opened the bottle and checked the aroma. Mmm! There is a hint of Hinekomi behind the sour aroma. When I put it in my mouth, it didn't give me an irritating feeling in the back of my throat, so I was just about safe. The taste is quite good. It's crisp with umami and sourness. The recommendation on the back of the bottle has a double circle for "chilled" and circles for "on the rocks" and "at room temperature," but personally, I'd drink it warm. When it's warmed and cooled to about human skin temperature, the hiney smell disappears and the flavor deepens. 2/5 stars, but I drank a little too much. I wanted to drink it when it was well preserved. I would have given it 3 stars if it didn't have the hiney smell.
