It's the time of year for hiyaoroshi, but lately I've been drinking at the rate of once a week, so I haven't been able to do much about it, and my fridge has been so overwhelmed that there's almost nothing but sake in the refrigerated space 😅.
I'll do my best to save space this week...
I thought I would drink some summer sake since it's still extremely hot in September, but it was surprisingly comfortable this evening, so I'll start with hiyaoroshi..!
Sweet aroma like peaches.
The mild sweetness spreads slowly, with a gentle lingering bitterness at the end.
The way it spreads on the palate is voluptuous and seems to be a good match for the coming pleasant season.
I wish the noon temperature would drop a little more...
