Nagasaki's Hiran, our first try 😄.
It has a refreshing champagne-like aftertaste with a slight acidity and nigorigo, and a strong sibilance. It's a sake that would go well with all kinds of food, both Japanese and Western 🍶Today is the second day and it seems to have mellowed since the bottle was opened 😃.
Today's entrée was Shizuoka's specialty leaf ginger, ganmonodoki, and horse mackerel marinated in sake lees...I went for a Japanese style 👍.
