nito
My daughter in Tokyo sent it to me at the end of last year for New Year's drinking. However, she had a corona and couldn't go home, and she couldn't go home for GW either due to work, so I opened it at the end of GW. (My daughter said I could drink it 😋)
This is my first time to drink Yonotori. I've never been a fan of kijo sake, but this was one I was convinced was indeed Shinmasa, with just the right amount of sweetness and acidity without the stickiness of kijo sake, and the aroma of the wooden vat that enveloped it. 🎶
