My long awaited instrument Masamune! The sake here is, in a word, cosmopolitan! It's a Honjo sake, so the price is an amazing little over 1000 yen for a 4-gallon flight. Even so, the taste is very juicy with an aroma and flavor like a pear. The taste is also rich and reminds me of the Jyushiyo I drank a long time ago. The aftertaste was a little bitter and the alcohol was a little disappointing, but overall it was a well balanced and wonderful sake. I would like to try the Junmai next.
