Refreshing aroma, typical of nama sake. Soft on the palate. Slightly sweet. Not flashy, but strangely lingering. What is this? What is this? It's super delicious! It is!
This is Takahashi Sukesaku Sake Brewery. They are a pioneer of Yamae-Nishiki sake brewing rice, and all of their sake is made from Yamae-Nishiki.
This is a limited edition sake that is shipped to coincide with the birthday of the poet Kobayashi Issa (May 5). The brewery is located in Shinanomachi, Kobayashi's birthplace and final home. In spite of this, there were customers before and after me, and I felt the popularity of the brewery. I can only be convinced.
