Takatsugu
The second snowman of the season. This time we opened a bottle of Sengoku nigori sake.
The bottle was gently opened by slowly twisting the perforated stopper, which is unique to nigori sake. When the bottle comes into contact with air, bubbles swell up from the bottom of the bottle, and the two layers of sake are naturally stirred together.
The first thing to do is pour the top clear liquid into the sake cup and gulp it down. The fresh fruity flavor spreads pleasantly on the tongue.
Next, the bottle was shaken lightly and the pure white nigori sake was gulped down. The taste gently changes to a milky lactic acidity.
