Hirasawa Kisaburo Shoten was well known to the local people under the name "Kisaburo's Sake.
Even today, many people know it as "Kisaburo's Sake. At that time, the sake was junmai (pure rice) sake.
The result was "Kisaburo's Sake. In those days, a carpenter's daily wage was equal to one measure of sake.
