We were able to get some mackerel ripe sushi from Ota Sake Brewery, so we paired it with our stock of bentenmusume. First, cold... The nose has a standing aroma of brown sugar, rice wine, and tanned leather. On the palate, the acidity is quite strong and intense 😯. However, the mouthfeel is round and the aftertaste is gentle and quite dry. ⚡️ All the daughters are massive, but not that heavyweight 😊. With the recommended hot sake... 🍶. The aroma is like freshly cooked rice 🍚. It's still dry, but the sweetness and umami of the rice has increased and the acidity is still prominent, but more rounded. It's a warm sphere: ⚪️ It's like a flattened sphere becoming a sphere. With ripe vinegar 🐟. Dip it in plenty of rice... the sticky mackerel has a lot of flavor and waits for the sake! There's no reason why it can't go with it 😋.
