Saito Sake Brewery, which we stopped by during our Shikoku expedition, is located along the main road in a cozy setting 😁 The sales office is connected to the office and is a typical old-established establishment.
Unfortunately, the new sake was not yet available, but I got the most popular junmai ginjo here, a beautiful indigo-colored bottle that raised my expectations 😁.
The Junmai Ginjo from Gotenzakura has a fruity aroma with a strong ginjo aroma that spreads as soon as the bottle is opened.
It has a sweetness at first, followed by sourness, bitterness, and a strong overall taste.
Overall, it is a very rich sake👍.
