On the way back from a family trip to Hakuba during the summer vacation, we got off at the Ueda IC once and stopped by Okazaki Sake Brewery to buy Shinshu Kamerei.
I can say that we made a family trip to Hakuba to go to Okazaki Sake Brewery.
The entire trip, I was soaring about what they had on the lineup right now.
1) Gingame (Miyamanishiki Junmai Daiginjo)
Hitogokochi Junmai
(3) Yamae Nishiki Junmai Ginjo
(4) Miyamanishiki Junmai Ginjo (limited edition)
Since there were 4 kinds of sake, 2 bottles per person, my wife used her right to purchase 4 kinds of sake. (Luckily, we even bought a bottle of Genmai in the same Ueda area!)
) As a consolation to myself for driving, I went back and opened a bottle right away. I started with the Miyamanishiki Junmai Ginjo. Because this is the only bottle I have, lol!
When I opened the bottle...
A gentle aroma of freshly cooked rice.
The mouthfeel is mellow and fruity, with a fruity apple-like sweetness and juiciness, and a hint of acidity that is very lively in the mouth.
Shinshu Kamerei has an image of a delicate flavor that would go well with Japanese cuisine with a strong dashi broth, but even when paired with dishes with strong flavors, it does not lose and has a solid core.
I know, but it is so delicious!
It's not easy to buy it locally, so I think my summer trips will be along the Kan-etsu road lol.
