I ordered it at an izakaya in the basement of KITTE Osaka, along with a rather impressive menu of cachoepepe soba noodles.
My first Shinsei was Cosmos.
The aroma was subdued, with a fruity acidity and a slight sweetness; the alcohol was momentarily scented and quickly disappeared, leaving a lingering light bitterness that lingered for a long time.
I see! So this is Shinsei! I was excited by this rare sake. Well, I haven't had the chance to taste the most popular No. 6 yet, so "Is this Shinmasa? is an exaggeration.
At any rate, it was a delicious sake.
