Satisfaction: ★★★★★
I was finally able to purchase the Omine Junmai at Matsuzaki Shinjuku store in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, which I had been interested in for a long time.
I had stopped by Isetan Shinjuku several times, but had not been able to find it for several years.
When I opened the bottle with high expectations, the faint smell of sawdust made me a little uneasy.
When I put it in my mouth, I was surprised. It is delicious.
It has a light fruity smell, a strong sweetness, and a full-bodied flavor, followed by a smooth finish.
The fruity taste was so good that I couldn't help but say, "This is delicious.
Not only is it sweet, but it has a strong umami, and I can't think of any other sake that is similar to it without the sawdust smell.
It has the complex umami that is typical of Omachi, but it is also crisp and low in alcohol, making it easy to drink.
It is recommended for sake beginners.
However, it tastes a little bitter when used as an aperitif.
It is best as an aperitif.
No wonder it has a good reputation at Sake-no-wa.
It would be nice if it could be purchased a little closer.
