This year's 3rd hanpukai Nirvana Kame
Evolved from 99% the year before last, using brown rice for both koji and kakemai
The aroma is yellow, but a little paler than that of 99%.
The aroma is fragrant like a freshly roasted peanut.
It is the least sake-like sake among all the Nirvana Turtles so far, but it is actually very good.
The taste is of koji acidity, grain, and slightly oxidized fat.
It can be drunk normally, but it has a very peculiar taste.
Compared to the 90 and 92 Nirvana Turtles of years ago, the technology has clearly improved, but still, even Shinsei can't make fatty acid taste good!
I wonder how the soon-to-be-released Nirvana Turtle 10th Anniversary will be like!
