This is a summer-only sake from Kangiku Meizo, a popular sake brewery in Chiba Prefecture.
The rice is made from 50% comet rice, which is a rice suitable for sake brewing in Hokkaido, and polished to 50%. The taste is silky, tropical and gorgeous with a hint of pineapple.
It was the perfect sake for a relaxing summer evening in an air-conditioned room.
