I felt the same unique flavor I felt when I drank Kagatobi. There were instructions on the back of the bottle on how to warm it up, so I decided to try heating half of it to lukewarm. The first time I warmed it up to lukewarm, the alcohol was very irritating to my nose and I almost swallowed. But it was mellower than cold sake. It was easy to drink. It was perfect with grilled fish and vegetable miso soup.
