I went to Okayama Prefectural Museum for a special exhibition and lecture on "brewing" 🍶After listening to the history and exhibition of sake in Okayama and the Bicchu Touji, I had a sudden urge to drink sake, so I opened this bottle tonight💁 (not Okayama's local sake 😅).
The aroma is slightly sweet like green melon, with a hint of nigori (nigori is a type of rice malt). In the mouth, it is juicy and fresh like new sake, and after a light mouthfeel and a slight gaseous sensation from the lees, it has a sweet umami taste. It is delicious and easy to drink, passing down the throat easily 💦.
I immediately paired it with five kinds of sashimi. The freshness of the sake stands out when served cold, and I think the scallops were the best match.
Next, I tried it warmed in the sun. The taste mellows out and the umami, acidity, and bitterness are all enhanced, making it a good balance for food. It is also delicious. ‼️ Sake is good 👍
