しゃくやく
Impressive label of cute bear. Junmai Daiginjo unfiltered unpasteurized sake made with 50% polished rice from "Mori no Kuma-san", a type of food rice from Kumamoto prefecture, and made with Yamagata yeast.
It has mellow aroma and juicy taste of rice, and the rich aftertaste is pleasant.
The brewer is a relative of Kiyomasa Kato, who is said to have rebuilt Kumamoto Castle, and they are donating a portion of the proceeds from sales to support the reconstruction of the castle, which was damaged by the earthquake.
