This is a local sake from my hometown, Ibaraki Prefecture, and I quite like it. The rice is common rice Nihonbare (100% Ibaraki grown).
It is a rich, pure rice with a solid body. The flavor and aroma of the rice is excellent, and it is a powerful sake without any of the fruity sensation that is so popular!
