ねむた
Purchased at a roadside station.
This sake is made from Hida Homare, which is a small rice variety of sake rice that is outside the standard.
Since it is made with out-of-specification rice, it cannot claim to be junmai or junmai ginjo, and is treated as a regular sake.
The label was interesting and reasonably priced, and I couldn't find it on the market, so I bought it 😙🍶💕.
The sake is clear and has a beautiful and discreet ginjo aroma.
The mouthfeel is clean and refreshing, and it spreads quickly as you swallow.
It has a long, lingering aftertaste from the acidity.
It is so easy to drink that you can easily finish a large amount.
It is not too peculiar, so it can be easily paired with anything.
