The Dewazakura Sake Brewery was established in 1892. Dewazakura was named after the beautiful cherry blossoms on Maizuru Mountain in the center of Tendo City. The brewery always brews sake with the drinker in mind, and makes every effort to use mass-produced bottles and eliminate excessive packaging in order to make sake that is easy for consumers to drink and understand, as well as cheap and tasty as possible. No matter how many awards the brewery has received and how many times it has been ranked as the best in the world, our first priority is to make sake that will receive a passing grade from the locals and that will be enthusiastically supported by the locals. Dewazakura is committed to brewing sake by hand with as little machinery as possible, and never neglects to invest in advanced equipment to improve sake quality. With a pioneering spirit, Dewazakura continues to take on new challenges, such as polishing its techniques, improving the quality of its sake, and exporting it overseas. (From the website of Hasegawa Sake Store) This is a bottle that a relative brought to me for New Year's.
This brand is said to be the official brand of the British Royal Family. I drank it cold, and it had a sweetness that spread quickly in my mouth, but that sweetness quickly disappeared. It is classified as a "light sweet" sake.
I don't have the words to describe it, but it's a good dessert sake.
Thank you! My relatives!
