This is the second of a set of three Hakutsuru-Nishiki bottles.
By the way, the third bottle, Jikin, is still sitting in the fridge, too good to drink.
Now, Toichi with Hakutsuru-Nishiki...
The aroma is similar to that of Hakutsuru, with a gentle and full rice aroma. Is this a characteristic of Hakutsuru-nishiki?
The taste is also more complex and bitter than fruity, and then disappears quickly.
It is delicious on its own, but would be better as a food sake!
Hakutsuru is more classical and Toichi is more modern, but I think their characteristics are similar when you compare them!
