I was drawn to this pale pink label.
I quickly picked it up without hesitation. I am glad that I was able to open the bottle without any problems this year.
The supernatant has a freshness different from that of new sake. It has a slight effervescence and sweetness. Then it changes from bitter to spicy.
When the sake is mixed with Ori, the sweetness fades away and the bitterness and spiciness at the end of the bottle finish it off as they did last year.
It is not as sharp as last year, but it still has a predictable taste and can be purchased with confidence.
