I was intrigued to know that the sake is made from Koshihikari rice, which was selected as the only rice terrace in Shiga Prefecture, and was selected as one of the "100 best rice terraces in Japan".
It has a slight bitterness, but it has a very fruity sweetness despite being an edible rice sake.
Koshihikari seems to be more of a food poisoning type of sake, but it's better suited to be drunk on its own.
