It is a sake called "Nozawa". It was served at the Fukushima Sake Festival. Many of you may be familiar with Eisen, but this is a sake made by the Saekawa Sake Brewery in Nishiaizu. When I asked at the venue why the sake was written in Eisen, I was told that "Saekawa" is actually treated as minor and they are not allowed to use it at this festival because the old characters are confusing. A story behind the story. It has been a long story, but the taste is sweet and sour like a melon, with a nice sharpness. This is delicious. It was a drink that made me feel the importance of branding and marketing, including the way the name reads. By the way, they don't have it available in Tokyo because they don't grind it there. I want to buy it, but I can't. Too bad.
