I was given a bottle of Horaiizumi Gin, a famous sake from my hometown in Aichi Prefecture, by a fellow sake drinker who I respect, so I drank it at home.
It has a gentle alcoholic aroma with a slight tang. When you put it in your mouth, it feels a little dry, but the solid flavor spreads in your mouth. The feeling that passes through the nose is gentle.
In the aftertaste, the taste with a sense of maturity spreads to the back of the throat.
The balance from the time you put it in your mouth to the time you swallow it is wonderful.
It is the most popular sake in Aichi for a long time.
