First try of Tottori sake.
The sake is made from strong rice produced in Tottori. It is said to go well with seafood, so I paired it with grilled scallops with butter and soy sauce, which was a great match. The sake is not so strong in the mouth, in a good sense, so the flavors of the food are emphasized and the umami is enhanced. It is good to drink it with food. It is easy to drink even for those who do not like the spicy taste that lingers in the throat and nose. It has a good balance of sweet and spicy, which I like.
