Happy New Year! I drove to see my father at my parents' house nearby, so I picked up some osechi before dinner and had my first sake of the new year. I chose a junmai ginjo of Nitoshi. The subtle bitterness of the sake makes the drink go down a treat. Tomorrow, I plan to start drinking in the morning while watching the Hakone Ekiden. Three days of the year are hard to resist for sake drinkers, aren't they? LOL.
