Yoshi
Hard-to-obtain sake? It is said to be a "hard-to-find" sake, but there are some places in the west of Tokyo where you can find it. I bought it immediately because there was a US version and a bottle of it on the shelf.
Well, I opened the bottle and took my first sip!
The sourness spreads in the mouth along with a slight sparkle. The sourness changes to the umami of the rice and the sweetness characteristic of nigorizake as it passes the throat, and disappears with a tangy aftertaste.
I like Nigori-shu and have drunk many kinds of Nigori-shu, but I can see why it is so popular in terms of balance. Personally, I don't like lingering acidity, so the delicate flavor of Yukidaruma is truly delicious. I would like to make it a regular winter drink every year.
