Awaji Island - Minami-Awaji City Sake.
I bought it during a summer trip to Awaji Island.
They say you can only get it at a liquor store called Liquor Mates on Awaji Island or by mail order directly from the brewery. I bought it at Liquor Mates.
The sweetness is modest at first, then deep and gentle, deep and aromatic, even after time has passed and the flavor has opened up.
After that, there is a zing and a classy but powerful spiciness that seems to come from the bottom of your stomach. A two-tiered umami. The caramelized aroma on the back end is also quite to my liking.
This is good. Bikkuri Ponya (I'm drinking it while watching "Asa ga kitaeru").
How about if you heat it up?
The spiciness that goes through your nose with a sharp aroma.
The sharp spiciness blooms well.
The caramelized finish tightens it up.
It's also good warmed.
This is the second year for Sake-no-wa. I can't believe I drank 167 different kinds of sake from 37 prefectures in one year!
I had to slow down when I moved to a new job that required night shifts, but I still managed to drink this much.
I hope that in the second year I will be able to continue to encounter delicious sake and share my excitement with you.
