It is a summer-only sake made with rhododendron flower yeast. We were allowed to take it home as there were only a few left at Sake Merchant Yamada: ☺️
I was worried about the apple or fruit punch flavored sake from the same Raifuku brand, but...
As you can imagine, it has a light, refreshing taste with just the right amount of acidity and bitterness to make it a refreshing and comfortable sake for hot evenings.
It seems to go well with pickles and vinegared food 😀.
