moto
First time chivalry. Before I bought it, I only knew it was a newspaper liquor.
The aroma is apple-like.
The moment you put it in your mouth, you get a gulp of umami!
This is the top level of umami among all the sake I have ever had.
At the same time as the umami, you feel sweet and sour, and the bitterness seeps into the back of your throat.
This is delicious. I can't really explain it, but even though it's a voluminous sake, it doesn't feel heavy and is easy to drink.
It is not too sweet among the umami bombs, but it has a good balance of sourness.
I would like to try other Gikyo.
