I finally got a drink.
Last autumn, my brother and his family used Goto Travel to travel to Hokkaido, souvenir rose
I've had it for more than half a year.
I thought it was time to drink it, so I chilled it in the fridge for a few days and opened the bottle 🎵.
It has a fruity aroma, but it is very mild.
The label says that it is made from 100% sake compatible rice from Hokkaido, but a quick search on the internet shows that it is made from Comet and Kitashizuku. (The homepage of the brewery uses Kitashizuku)
When I drank it, I found a good balance between sweetness and acidity, with a lingering sweetness that's far away but you can feel it 😅 maybe.
Personally, I think it's good for a sake during meals.
