This is the second edition of Drunk Monkey.
I had to go out to the Onoda area on the first day of pre-sale, so I dropped by the brewery and bought it.
I was told that the taste was the opposite of the previous red label, so I opened the bottle imagining that it would be light and dry.
When I cooled it down and drank it, it had a watery mouthfeel with a bitterness and umami that followed it.
I was told at the brewery that "if you chill it well, you won't be able to stop drinking it", and that is certainly true.
The fact that it doesn't make a strong statement at the first sip means that it doesn't fight with the food, even before or during a meal, which is also a good impression.
When it goes on sale to the general public, I'll buy a bottle.
