金猫魔
Purchased at Yunokuni no Mori, a stopover on a trip to Ishikawa. Here you can experience various crafts, Kutani pottery making, glass craft, lacquering, gold leaf, buckwheat noodle making...etc. It is a vast site with many natural and art works and beautiful scenery including the buildings. Too much fun.
The children experienced maki-e and I bought myself a Kutani Yaki porcelain sake cup.
The sake here is Kanazawa "Nakamuraya" by Nakamura Sake Brewery in Kanazawa City. This sake was specially labeled as a Noto reconstruction support sake. Ishikawa is also home to many sake breweries, which have been directly or indirectly affected by the earthquake. Ishikawa's form is stylish in design. Stylish. A portion will be donated to the relief efforts.
The golden eagle symbol given to sake made with the best of Ishikawa's natural environment, rice and water is also cool, so the Ishikawa form is wonderful. Wonderful.
Fruity and refreshing aroma,
Light acidity and a slight bitterness but with a nice sharpness,
It has a slightly dry mouthfeel with a mild umami taste.
It is best served chilled with a meal.
Drink it, visit it, and support it.
