A well-made sake like this is the best way to blow away this year's extremely hot summer.
The label design is cool and refreshingly summery. I was expecting a lighter flavor, but I was wrong.
When well chilled, it is refreshing to drink, but with each sip, its full-bodied thickness and lingering sweetness and umami spread out, and the pleasant intoxication goes around, making it a new world of sake for summer.
We had a snack of sea bream sashimi, chilled tofu with chives and soy sauce, and a melon together, and it went well with all of them.
In short, it was delicious. w It exceeded my expectations several times over and was the best tasting sake of the summer with a great balance of deliciousness.
I will definitely buy this again if it is still available at liquor stores.
